Found this gem on a road trip. When we arrived there was a line out the door. This should tell you something. Everything was great. Food, service and price.

Best breakfast in the area by far! Can be a little busy between 8:30 and 9. :00 but usually not too much of a wait! Everybody from dishwashers to servers work so well together! Make sure you tip the cooks!

Excellent local breakfast/brunch spot. Nothing too fancy, but a classic café atmosphere and great food. The cinnamon roll was amazing and literally the size of your face; almost impossible to finish. I took a picture with my hand to show the size - as big as a plate.

This cafe will take you back to a small hometown cafe. The people here are very friendly and accommodating. You will smell the aroma of food and the friendly chatter of locals. The menus are right on the table and offer a variety of good fresh diner foods. The biscuits are big and taste just like grandma made them with homemade sausage gravy. If you are hungry go for the full order. You will get full. The French toast simple but very good. The southwest omelette is a great rendition topped with chili and filled with meat. I have never had anything like it but it was a nice change up. My cup never was empty, service was great. The area is narrow and limited for seating but don’t let that stop you. Would highly recommend

Today was my first time eating at Neighbors Cafe and it was a 15/10. This place is everything you expect from a small, local diner. The food was good, the cooks were attentive in plating their food, the commeraridie among staff and customers was welcoming, and the waitresses were over-and-above friendly. They should teach a class in customer service skills because we all know a few stores/employees/cashiers/etc who could use it!!

While all of the staff were over-the-top friendly throughout our visit, it was the food which pushed my review to 5-stars. The omlettes were perfectly prepared and tasted amazing - easily the best I've had in years. We also ordered the giant cinnamon roll to be shared - very sweet, yummy and enjoyed by all. Will return next time we're driving through McPherson!
